Tanks  reportedly shelling Hara Jasem and residential areas in Homs with dozens dead and wounded as international criticism mounts and the European Union imposes sanctions on 23 top ranking Syrian officials. Syria’s refusal to let a UN humanitarian assessment team into the protest city of Dara’a was raised by Britain at a Security Council meeting yesterday.
