Tanks take up positions on the outskirts of Hama, as security forces storm the city and enter neighborhoods arresting 200 hundred and killing 11. This comes after the city sees massive anti-regime protests on Friday estimated in the hundreds of thousands. Residents set up makeshift roadblocks and arm themselves with sticks and stones to try to prevent the security forces from entering their neighborhoods.
